Born with an awareness for health & nutrition… Lyndal decided to make it a career! Intuitively, it became clear – Yoga & Nutrition was the perfect recipe for optimal health & wellbeing. Lyndal is a Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc. NutMed.) & Yoga Teacher trained under the guidance of Carrie-Anne Fields & the team of amazing facilitators at My Health Yoga.
During her time in clinical practice & yoga teaching Lyndal has found a strength in ‘teaching’. Not just yoga, but also health & wellness. “I got so exhausted of simply telling people what to eat and what to do – I believe immersing in a retreat was the most beautiful way to guide people toward their truest potential”.
Alongside retreats, Lyndal continues to practice clinical nutrition & commited yoga practice under the guidance of her teachers Mark Togni & Gee Delgado (Gold Coast Yoga Centre) whilst managing My Health Yoga studio on the Gold Coast (offering Level 1 YTT, Yin YTT & online yoga courses).

Alex’s journey in the health and wellness industry began in 2012 – upon completing her secondary schooling she became interested in nutrition. While studying, at QUT, Alex felt guided to study yoga and decided to set off to India to complete a yoga teacher training under the guidance of Yogarishi Vishvaketu at Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh.
It is through this time, Alex developed a need to adopt holistic yoga and nutrition into her life and choose it as a career. Since accomplishing her Yoga Teacher Training (2013), Alex completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine, Yin Yoga Teacher Training, 500 hr advanced akhanda yoga trainings as well as a Cert IV in Polestar Pilates (mat series) and intuitive massage. Alex has successfully adopted Eastern traditions with clinical science to become a passionate holistic practitioner leading others to follow their intuition and make the shift in becoming the best version of themselves.
After hosting numerous Clarity Cleanse Retreats, Alex was craving the healing nature of Ubud, Bali (2018). Alex is currently working alongside Kate Reardon & the team at Natural Instinct Healing and loves spending her time healing, encouraging & teaching in between Bali & Australia.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No, yoga practice on retreat is suitable for all levels. As the fasting regime continues, our morning practice becomes more gentle. Evening yoga practice is yin yoga – soft, gentle & mostly seated or lying down.
This depends, however we are only fasting for 3 days. This sounds like a long time, but in actual fact, this is a very beginner stage of fasting. Over the course of the retreat you are educated on ways to enhance and support natural detoxification. The supplements, activities & healing methods on retreat also support safe & effective detoxification – most of our guests feel fabulous.
Preparation for retreat is as important as the retreat itself. Leading up to the retreat all of our guests are encouraged & advised to avoid certain foods. Hunger depends on the individual however these feelings do subside.
Yes, upon booking for retreat we require $150 deposit. Thereafter, you can pay in small or large incraments to whatever amount, as long as the retreat is paid off 4 weeks prior to the retreat date.
Once we have received your booking form, you will receive an email confirmation including payment & further accommodation options to secure your booking.
This information will also be used to assist us in obtaining a better understanding of you as an individual and how we can best help you in achieving a better health outcome on this retreat.
